Efforts to criminalize Palestine solidarity are escalating nationwide as part of the Trump and MAGA agenda. We know that FBI visits are happening nationally, and we have at least 1 confirmed Bay Area incident involving an FBI phone call followed by a home visit. This is part of a long history of state repression against social movements, from the civil rights and anti-war movements to Black liberation and Indigenous resistance. From this history, we know that an informed and organized movement is our best defense.
Assert Your rights. Do not talk to the FBI.
If you are visited by law enforcement: Do not open the door or let them inside.
Assert your right to a lawyer, get the agent's card or contact information.
Remaining silent and asserting your rights can often lead to closing the case.
